Château Marjosse : Anthologie de Marjosse Cuvée Palombe 2019

A medium- to full-bodied white with complex aromas of dried lime, apricot, green mango, flint and toast. It’s textured and creamy with crisp acidity and flinty, subtly smoky layers. Focused and elegant. Drink or hold.

Flowers, lemon rind, spearmint and honeysuckle notes are all over the place. Fresh, forward, fruity and with a creamy, yellow citrus rind finish, with just a drizzle of honey, you can enjoy this on release. Drink from 2022-2028.

The 2019 Anthologie Cuvee Palombe is made from equal parts Semillon, Sauvignon Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc from 40–75-year-old vines, and the wine is aged in used oak for 12 months. It offers intense scents of white peaches, juicy pears, and beeswax with hints of almonds, lime blossom, and white pepper. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers a beautiful satiny texture with intense stone-fruit and citrus layers, lifted by a racy line, finishing long and chalky.

An enticing nose of honey, white flowers, and jasmine. A crisp, seductive palate with notes of yellow fruits and passion fruit, a slightly exotic touch, and lovely acidity.
