    Description

Characteristics and tasting advice for the Fantastique 2024 cuvée from Château Sainte Marguerite

    Tasting

    Color
Beautiful pearlescent pink color, enhanced by brilliant golden reflections.

    Nose
Harmonious and expressive, the nose combines the indulgence of white peach and pear with exotic notes of lychee, passion fruit and grapefruit zest.

    Palate
Vivid and aromatic, the palate reveals accents of citrus and delicate flowers (rose, jasmine), extended by a beautiful length in the finish.

    Service and aging

Best enjoyed between 8 and 10°C. This rosé wine can be kept in cellars until around 2029-2030.

    Food and wine pairings

A poultry with morels, grilled red meats, Asian cuisine or a tuna tataki with spices are delicate pairings with this cuvée.

The finesse and persistence of a Côtes de Provence rosé wine

    The property

Founded in 1929 by André Chevillon on the foundations of a wine estate cultivated since antiquity, the Château Sainte-Marguerite extends over the terroir of La Londe-Les-Maures, a village on the Var coast. It obtained the classified growth of Provence in 1955, which highlights the authenticity, diversity and quality of its products. In 1977, Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard acquired the estate, which at the time represented 11 hectares. Since 2022, the Fayard family has partnered with Pernod Ricard to continue the development of Sainte Marguerite in Provence and internationally.

    The vineyard

This Fantastique 2024 is a Côtes de Provence wine from the vineyards of La Londe resting on silty clay soils, structured with pebbles and shattered quartz.

    Vinification and aging

Cold skin maceration before pressing. Thermoregulated vinification. Aging in vats on fine lees. Fining and filtration before bottling.
