    Vinum

Strongly wood-driven on the nose; creamy on the attack, crisp fruit, then overshadowed by drying tannins. Will maturation bring more polish?

    Decanter

Dried herbs, blackcurrant leaf, dark cherry scents. Clean and focused. Juicy and plump, yet it retains a sense of leanness and sleekness—direct and focused—tapering with the frame of the tannins toward a cool, salty finish, but the initial burst of fruit is lovely. Great acidity and bounce, as well as seriousness. It needs to come together a bit more, but it has both a sense of classicism and fun. Tasted twice.

Savory herbs, tobacco, cedar, and a hint of espresso form the nose. The palate is medium-bodied, bright, fruity, and fresh, with a sweet, red currant character, a touch of peppery spices, and savory herbs that show on the back end. The wine blends 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot. 13.5% ABV. Harvesting took place September 19 - October 3. Drink from 2027-2038. 91-93 pts

    Le Figaro Vin

The nose, as refined as a tailor-made three-piece suit, unfolds aromas of wisteria and chocolate truffles infused with kirsch. On the palate, the substance—undulating, caressing, beguiling—flows like a crystalline river through dark caverns, with a bright, acidic framework that balances with notes of fresh fruit. A cashmere-like texture carries through to the finish on deliciously gripping tannins.

As usual, Siran reveals itself gradually. It starts out a little reduced, then hints of blackcurrant, violet and eucalyptus begin to emerge. Like the bouquet, the palate has not yet fully come together. And that is precisely why this is an En Primeur sample! The tannins, with their fine grain, bring energy, together with the acidity that provides a lively edge and structure. A very promising wine!

Bright plum and red cherry, pleasurably sappy structure to the tannins, this is full of joy and gives a Margaux lift without having to wait too long. 30% new oak for ageing, 45hl/h yield, impressive quality and a success in the vintage.

Deep dark red color. Garnet highlights. An intense, refined, fruity and subtle nose. Precise on the attack, very flavorful on the mid-palate and very well built, with outstanding balance, nuanced oak and gentle extraction, the wine finishes long and very pleasant. A successful vintage. Blend: 53% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot. Alcohol content: 13.5%. Yield: 45.5 hl/ha.
