The estate
Located among the most beautiful crus of its appellation, the Château Vray Croix de Gay is in line with the very beautiful references of Pomerol, on the right bank of the Bordeaux region.
The vineyard
The vineyard extends over an area of 3.36 hectares divided into 9 plots subdivided into micro-plots. The vines, averaging 48 years old, are planted on clayey gravels in the heart of the Pomerol plateau.
Vinification and aging
Throughout the vinification, a gentle and optimal extraction is favored. The aging is carried out in French oak barrels with medium heat (including 50% new barrels) for 14 months.
Blend
Merlot (80%) and cabernet franc (20%).
