The Estate

The Vineyard

Situated on a remarkable terroir, the vineyard covers 60 hectares, including vines some of which are over 80 years old. The Petit Clos from Clos Apalta is a Central Valley wine endowed with rare finesse.

The Vintage

The 2022 vintage in Apalta was marked by cooler conditions, a dry winter, an unstable spring without frosts, and a cooler summer with more sunshine. Growth was delayed, requiring rigorous irrigation. Harvest began one week later than the previous year. These conditions allowed for optimal grape maturation, producing balanced, fruit-rich wines with good density, texture, and excellent aging potential.
