    Decanter

Tasted at the estate on another occasion and both times this wine proved deliciously opulent with plenty of acidity for balance: let’s say peachy and green-apple freshness. The palate has citrus charm, without any of the flatness one might expect from the hot, dry summer weather, echoing the common refrain that the small berries concentrated acidity—with a low pH of 3.22—just as much as ripeness. For me, the wine’s quality punches well above its price.

The 2025 Lune d'Argent was cropped at 30 hl/ha between 21 August and 19 September. It has a brisk, citrus-fresh nose, scents of apple blossom and orange pith, fine delineation. The palate is well balanced, with pear and melon on the entry, a little lower in acidity than the previous vintage and, as such, just needs a bit more "bite" on the finish. Fine.

White peach, citrus, and pineapple are front and center here. The palate is packed with sweet, ripe tropical fruits and citrus. The wine blends 70% Semillon with 30% Sauvignon Blanc. As a point of reference, this was the first wine offered for sale En Primeur from the 2025 campaign. Drink from 2027-2031. 92-92 Pts

Green-gold, attractive and lifted, this is enjoyable, grippy and easy to enjoy.

    Vinum

Herb-spicy, with peach, apricot and smoky notes; creamy on the palate, showing a certain opulence, countered by the acidity; the wine has grip and good length, finishing with a firm note of salted preserved lemon.
