Characteristics and Tasting Notes of Copenhagen Sparkling Tea
Tasting
Appearance
A pale golden hue, reminiscent of a very light tea, enhanced by a lively, exceptionally fine effervescence.
Nose
The nose opens with intense, fragrant aromas of jasmine, chamomile and citrus fruits. It is rounded out by subtle notes of wildflowers, dried herbs and a delicate touch of green tea.
Palate
On the palate, the attack offers a round, balanced sweetness imparted by the white teas, followed by a beautiful complexity drawn from the green teas. The finish lingers at length on light Darjeeling tannins, providing a perfect balance between an off-dry sensation and a pleasant tangy freshness.
Food and tea pairings
Ideal as an aperitif, this beverage pairs wonderfully with light starters, vegetarian dishes, as well as most desserts. It also takes pride of place at afternoon tea service.

Copenhagen Sparkling Tea can be kept and enjoyed under optimal conditions for up to approximately 2 years after its production date.

The Innovation and Refinement of a Sparkling Tea from Denmark
The estate
Born from a culinary experiment in 2010, the Copenhagen Sparkling Tea company was officially founded on 26 May 2017 in Denmark by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba and business developer Bo Sten Hansen, who remain its current owners. Based in Copenhagen, the brand embodies the perfect union between Nordic innovation and Asian tea traditions. Now present in more than fifty countries and served in numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, the estate stands out through its commitment to craftsmanship, organic quality and the creation of premium non-alcoholic alternatives.
The blend
This cuvée is the result of a meticulous blend of thirteen different organic teas. It notably features white teas, green teas, as well as black teas such as first-flush Darjeeling and jasmin, complemented by a touch of grape juice and fresh lemon to perfect the balance.
Production
Each batch of Copenhagen Sparkling Tea is brewed by hand. The different tea varieties are infused separately, at specific temperatures and durations, before being blended together. The mixture then undergoes a three-stage carbonation process in a closed system to reach a delicate pressure of 5 to 5.5 bars. Finally, the bottles benefit from a maturation period of six to eight weeks before being released, and the beverage is pasteurised to ensure its stability.
Varieties
White tea (19%), jasmin black tea (14%), Darjeeling black tea (3%), green tea, herbal infusions.
