Description
Characteristics and tasting notes of Lyserod Rosé by Copenhagen Sparkling Tea
Tasting
Appearance
With a delicate light green hue scattered with subtle yellow nuances, this sparkling tea is enhanced by fine and persistent bubbles.
Nose
The bouquet reveals subtle floral fragrances of jasmine and chamomile, harmoniously accompanied by delicate citrus notes.
Palate
The attack unveils a round and slightly mellow palate, dominated by the sweetness of white teas that offer a refined texture. The mid-palate gains in complexity thanks to the green tea, bringing umami depth and a fine minerality. The finish, carried by the elegant tannins of first-flush Darjeeling tea, stretches out on dry notes and subtle herbaceous touches.
Food and tea pairings
This sparkling beverage pairs wonderfully with seafood-based dishes, sushi or even vegetarian fare. It also brilliantly accompanies delicate fish as well as the vast majority of desserts.
Serving and cellaring
For an optimal tasting experience, it is recommended to serve Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Blanc at a temperature below 10°C. The unopened bottle can be kept for approximately up to two years after its production date. Once opened, it is recommended to consume it within two to three days.

The estate
Founded on 26 May 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Copenhagen Sparkling Tea was born from the intuition of sommelier Jacob Kocemba, faced with the difficulty of finding an alcohol-free pairing for a gastronomic dessert. Today led by its two founders, Jacob Kocemba and Bo Sten Hansen, the company stands out through an artisanal approach where every batch is brewed by hand. A true pioneer, the estate has created a new category of sparkling beverages, blending the heritage of Asian teas with Nordic design, and is now embraced by more than a hundred Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.
Variety
This cuvée is the result of a meticulous blend that can bring together up to thirteen varieties of organic teas. The composition particularly showcases delicate white teas, green tea, as well as first-flush Darjeeling black tea. Aromatic infusions of jasmine and chamomile complete this blend, supported by a small base of grape juice and a touch of natural lemon juice for balance.
Production
The production of Lyserod Rosé by Copenhagen Sparkling Tea relies on a rigorous process. The different tea varieties benefit from an extended cold infusion of approximately 24 hours, with precise temperature control in order to preserve the most fragile aromatic compounds. After the final blend is assembled by the founder, the beverage is carbonated under a pressure of 5 bars, ensuring a fine effervescence, before being bottled.
