    The property

The Domaine de la Mordorée was created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son. Located in Tavel, near Avignon, this estate of 60 hectares spread over 38 plots is the perfect expression of appellations such as Tavel, Lirac, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, or even Condrieu.

    The vineyard

La Reine des Bois is a Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine made from vineyards planted on the Crau plateau, resting on clay-siliceous soils with rolled pebbles.

    Vinification and aging

Destemming, crushing and long maceration, up to 30 days. The aging is carried out 20% in barrels and 80% in vats.

    Blend

    Grenache (75%), syrah (10%), mourvèdre (10%), counoise (3%) and vaccarese (2%).
