The estate

Founded in 1130 by the Cistercian monks of the abbey of La Ferté in Givry, the Domaine du Cellier aux Moines is among the oldest estates in Burgundy. In 2004, it was taken over by Philippe and Catherine Pascal, together with their three children, with a shared ambition: to revive the estate. Listed as a Historic Monument, Cellier aux Moines underwent ten years of restoration, carried out with passion and the utmost respect for tradition. Today, this jewel of Burgundian viticulture spans more than 10 hectares, bringing together remarkable Premier Crus from Givry to Puligny-Montrachet.

The vineyard

This Givry Premier Cru covers an area of more than 5 hectares, on a hillside slightly exposed to the winds. Facing due south, the vines are cultivated biodynamically on clay-limestone soils.
