Description
A powerful and balanced white Côtes du Rhône wine
The estate
The E. Guigal estate was founded in Ampuis in 1946 by Etienne Guigal. His son, Marcel, took over in 1961. Today, the third generation continues the heritage and values of this iconic family-run house in the Rhône Valley.
The E. Guigal estate takes care of a mosaic of vineyards located in several appellations - Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage – which produce a range of wines of irreproachable quality.
Across the vintages, the E. Guigal house has seen major development, notably becoming the owner of the famous Château d’Ampuis in 1995, as well as many wine estates (Jean-Louis Grippat, Domaine de Vallouit, Domaine de Bonserine and Château de Nalys, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape).
