The estate

Founded in Tain-L’Hermitage in 1808, the Maison M. Chapoutier is now among the leading names in Rhône Valley wines. As both winegrower and merchant, Michel Chapoutier has elevated this family business to the highest level over successive vintages. His wines, acclaimed by connoisseurs worldwide, stand out for their finesse and exceptional quality. The vineyard

Le Méal is an Ermitage wine from a rigorous parcel selection, originating exclusively from the eponymous hillside. These elevated terraces, with soils of rolled pebbles and clay, are home to centenary vines with controlled yields, ensuring particularly concentrated grapes.
