Opus One is the result of a dream shared by two iconic figures in the wine world: Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, renowned winemaker of the Napa Valley.
The vineyard
Considered a legend among Californian wines, Opus One comes from vineyards located in the heart of the appellation d'Oakville. This true « Grand Cru » symbolizes the union of two winemaking traditions with the aim of achieving the quintessence of a unique cru, of flawless quality.
