The Authentic Expression of an Iconic Châteauneuf-du-Pape Terroir
The estate
Located in France, at the heart of the Rhône Valley, the iconic estate of L'Oratoire des Papes was officially founded, along with its famous Art Deco label, in 1926. While the history of its original plot dates back to 1880, the estate today shines through its highly advanced agroecological approach and its wine tourism offering centred around its Priory. Integrated into the AdVini group in the early 2000s, the estate faithfully embodies the tradition of its appellation around the world.
The vineyard
The Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard benefits from a sunny Mediterranean climate, kept clean and dry by the mistral wind. The estate's vines flourish on the appellation's great terroirs, notably the limestone pebbles that lend a lovely freshness to the white grape varieties. Grown according to agroecological principles, the vineyard receives meticulous care to preserve the vitality of both the soil and the plants.
Winemaking and ageing
The harvest for this Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2021 is carried out by hand with rigorous sorting. Winemaking is conducted with precision to preserve the freshness and brightness of the fruit. Ageing takes place in vats and oak barrels, bringing complexity and roundness to the final blend.
Grape varieties
This wine comes from a blend typical of the appellation, showcasing Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne and Bourboulenc.
