To fully appreciate this wine, serve it at a temperature between 16 and 18°C. This vintage also shows excellent ageing potential.

The elegance of a great Chilean wine from the Central Valley

    The estate

Founded in 2006 by Alexander and Carrie VIK, the property covers a vast estate of more than 4,300 hectares. Located in the heart of the Central Valley in Chile, this prestigious name stands out for its holistic philosophy, combining cutting-edge viticulture, contemporary architecture and respect for the environment. The estate quickly established itself as a leading reference in wine tourism and in the production of exceptional South American wines.

    The vineyard

The vines grow in the Millahue Valley, within the Central Valley. This terroir enjoys a temperate Mediterranean climate, softened by a maritime influence that moderates peak temperatures. The great geological diversity of the soils shapes the wine's profile: clay schist (lutite) lends depth and structure, monzogranite brings elegance and precision, while andesite imparts a lovely mineral energy.

    The vintage

This year's growing season was particularly well balanced. Winter and spring benefited from abundant rainfall, followed by a temperate summer. A dry autumn then provided ideal conditions for a precise harvest. The grapes picked were in excellent health and had reached optimal phenolic ripeness.

    Winemaking and ageing

The wine is aged for 23 months, exclusively in barrels known as “Barroir”, which are distinctive in that they are made and toasted using native oak sourced directly from the estate.

    Blend

Cabernet Sauvignon (67%) and Cabernet Franc (33%).
