A Pure, Mineral Chablis Reflecting the Expertise of Maison Albert Bichot

    The Estate
Founded in 1831 in Monthélie, Maison Albert Bichot is a historic figure of Burgundy, now headquartered in Beaune. Led by Albéric Bichot, representing the sixth generation, this family-run company stands out for its environmental commitment. It oversees a 106-hectare vineyard, entirely organically certified, spread across six prestigious estates. Combining the roles of both estate owner and merchant, this world-renowned brand distinguishes itself through its constant pursuit of quality and its deep respect for Burgundian terroirs.

    The Vineyard
Located in northern Burgundy, near Auxerre, the terroir dedicated to this Chablis cuvée covers 28 hectares. The vines, averaging 38 years old, thrive on clay-limestone soils typical of the Kimmeridgian. This vineyard is made up of a mosaic of 34 distinct plots, planted on gentle to moderate slopes with varied exposures, bringing great complexity to the grapes.

    Winemaking and Aging
To preserve the freshness and purity of the fruit, the alcoholic fermentation of the Chablis Village Dom. Long-Depaquit 2024 takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then undergoes aging on fine lees in these same tanks, for a period of 10 to 11 months.
