    Robert Parker

    Kristaps Karklins

Disgorged in September 2024 with a dosage of eight grams per liter, Laurent-Perrier’s 2015 Brut Millésimé—an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir—unfolds with aromas of white peach, lemon zest, jasmine and pear, with a subtle hint of passion fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, taut and pillowy, though it lacks a little flesh, displaying a chalky character and vivid acidity before tapering off into a saline, mouthwatering finish.

    James Suckling

This is in a new bottle, like the stout ones used for the rosé and blanc de blancs. This is very structured with density and richness, with hints of strawberry to the apple character. The bubbles turn fine-textured at the end. Delicious flavors of biscuit and dried apple on the finish. There’s a special character here because of the very ripe vintage. Disgorged in November 2021. This is half chardonnay and half pinot noir. This can age well due to the phenolics. Drink or hold.

    Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Brut Millésimé, a blend of half Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and half Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, spent at least seven years on lees. Supple smokiness and a sense of rye bread with distant plum create a subtle nose. The palate continues with that lovely smokiness, wrapping it around aromatic plum and taut lemon, which are delicious counter poles in this elegant wine. The bubbles are a little frothy, but it acquits itself well for a 2015 vintage with all its freshness. Dosage is 6 grams per liter. (Lot LP33UK01624E) - Anne Krebiehl MW

    Falstaff

    Falstaff

Medium greenish yellow with silver reflections and a fine, persistent mousse. Cookie notes on the nose, with a hint of lemongrass, white peach and blossom honey. The palate has medium complexity of ripe pome fruit and mango, with a creamy texture, fine acidity and good minerality on the finish. A straightforward food companion. (PM).

    Le Figaro Vin

On the nose, ripe, complex aromas oscillating between caraway and juniper, fennel and exotic fruits; on the palate, a fine mousse, a smooth, majestic texture, and a lovely salinity running over notes of white fruit, leading to an exceptionally elegant, mineral finish.

The refinement and vivacity of a vintage Brut champagne

    The property

Founded in 1812, the Laurent-Perrier Champagne House entered its golden age from 1948, thanks to the dynamism of Bernard de Nonancourt. Under the impetus of this visionary businessman, the house stands out by creating cuvées reflecting its values of excellence and innovation.

Since its origins, the house has built its identity around chardonnay. With the freshness and finesse it brings to the blend, this grape variety signs the style of this Champagne reference.

The Laurent-Perrier House expresses its avant-gardism through, notably, Grand Siècle and its multi-vintage blends, its Ultra Brut with a "zero dosage" style, or its Cuvée Rosé, the first rosé champagne of this category by maceration. These so-called "breakthrough" cuvées, each creation of which is an event, mark a new page in the history of the Laurent Perrier House and its quest for excellence that has earned it international renown.

The values dear to Bernard de Nonancourt find their quintessence in the Laurent-Perrier cuvées, unanimously recognized by connoisseurs.

    The vineyard

Located in the picturesque village of Tours-sur-Marne, the Laurent-Perrier Champagne House benefits from a very qualitative vineyard of its own, supplemented by long-term supplies concluded with winegrowers on the greatest terroirs of the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs.

    The wine

The Laurent-Perrier House has the particularity of vintage one year out of two only when the rest of Champagne vintages on average more than three years out of four. This choice of excellence is partly at the origin of the well-established international reputation of this great Champagne House.

Made from an exceptional year and aged for 7 years, this 2015 Brut Millésimé from Laurent-Perrier is made exclusively from chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims.

    The vintage

A year marked by strong climatic instability, 2015 began with a mild and rainy winter preceding a contrasting spring. The stormy summer conditions gave way to a September whose coolness ensured the progressive and optimal maturation of the berries.

    Blend

This 2015 vintage champagne is the result of a blend of chardonnay (50%) from the Côte des Blancs (Chouilly, Oger, Cramant, Oiry) and pinot noir (50%) from the Montagne de Reims (Tours-sur-Marne, Aÿ, Tauxières, Verzenay, Ambonnay).
