The estate
The Champagne Marie-Courtin estate, located in the village of Polisot within the Côte des Bar, was founded by Dominique Moreau in 2005. This talented winemaker crafts outstanding champagnes under the estate name, which is none other than that of her grandmother, Marie-Courtin, a farmer.
A pioneer and passionate artisan, Dominique Moreau cultivates her vineyards using organic and biodynamic farming methods, striving to faithfully express the unique characteristics of these terroirs that give rise to rare champagnes combining finesse and vibrancy.
The vineyard
The "Concordance" cuvée from Marie-Courtin comes from east-facing vines in the Côte des Bar, in the south of the Champagne region. Averaging 50 years of age, these vines are grown organically and biodynamically on marl soils.
Blend
This Concordance Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut 2018 from Marie-Courtin is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
