The 2013 Brut Rosé Belle Epoque is turning out very well with a delicate, floral bouquet of peach, spring flowers, strawberries and almonds. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and elegant with a delicate mid-palate, it’s fresh and slightly tannic with a mineral, mouthwatering finish. This is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier with a dosage of nine grams per liter.

This rich rosé Champagne is aromatic and minerally on the nose, with smoke and oyster shell notes that transition to accent the palate's baked white peach, grilled plum, toasted brioche and lemon curd flavors. Bright, with well-honed acidity and a crisp, lacy texture. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Drink now through 2033.

Very pretty aromas with peach and crabapple character, as well as cotton candy and light nutmeg. Medium-to full-bodied with very fine bubbles that run the length of the wine and persist. Really fine and beautiful. Ultra-complex and refined. Drink now.

Medium salmon pink with orange reflections, lively mousse. Fine yellow stone fruit, with nuances of strawberry confit and preserved cherries in the background, a hint of blood orange, mineral touch. Juicy, ripe Greengage plum, delicate hints of clementine, fine acidity, fine fruit sweetness on the finish, delicate herbal savouriness on the finish, cookie in the aftertaste.

Fresh and elegant, the pure salmon-colored 2013 Champagne Belle Epoque Rosé Brut has a lively and large bubbly appearance on opening and is very pretty with aromas of fresh redcurrants, orange zest, and fresh flowers. Made from 50% Pinot Noir (15% of that red wine from Ambonnay), 45% Chardonnay, and 5% Meunier, it has 8 grams per liter dosage. Medium-bodied, it’s elegant and long on the palate, with notes of sherbet and a light spice, while its pillowy mousse balances out its more linear drive. It has a fresh and refined pithy texture with chalk as well as a long, clean finish. Drink 2024-2044.

    La RVF

A salmon-hued rosé distinguished by a subtly fruity palette with floral and spicy notes. It’s really morello cherry and crushed raspberry that come through on the fresh nose. The palate mirrors the aromatic profile and confirms a rosé of moderate power, with the substance tamed by the freshness of the vintage. Its evolution is assured, but it needs time, as do all 2013 champagnes.

An incredible elegance for this harmonious, suave wine, with delicate aromas of yuzu and fresh herbs, a thrilling swell over white-fruit notes, and an intense, saline finish.

This famed Champagne in its Belle Epoque flower label remains a very fine wine. This latest release is still in its vibrant fruit stage, showing no signs of aging. The hints of strawberries are balanced against the fine texture. The wine is ready to drink.

    Description

A rosé champagne imbued with elegance and aromatic finesse

    The property

The Champagne House of Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 by Pierre Perrier and his wife Adèle Jouët. Originating from exceptional terroirs of Champagne (Aÿ, Mailly-Champagne, Avize and Cramant), the cuvées of the house are recognized for their unique style combining aromatic richness, refinement and subtlety. From 1861, Perrier-Jouët became the designated champagne of Queen Victoria, and then that of the French Imperial Court.

Owned since 1959 by the Champagne company GH Mumm, the House of Perrier-Jouët owes its uniqueness in part to the iconic bottle of the prestige cuvée "Belle époque", designed in 1969 by Émile Gallé.

    The cuvée

Produced in limited quantities and only in exceptional vintages, the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé champagne is made from a blend of the emblematic terroirs of Champagne (Cramant, Avize, Aÿ, Mailly and Dizy). The Belle Époque Rosé 2010 cuvée from Perrier-Jouët is adorned with the Japanese white anemone, a motif created for the house in 1902 by Émile Gallé, master of Art Nouveau.

    Blend

This vintage champagne 2013 is the result of a blend of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier.
