The property
The Château de Myrat is a family estate established in the Sauternes appellation. The wines of this Grand Cru Classé from Sauternes captivate with their balance, elegance, and refinement.
The vineyard
Château de Myrat has a 22-hectare vineyard located in the Haut-Barsac region. The vineyards that produce a great Sauternes wine are situated on a clay-limestone plateau over fractured limestone.
Vinification and aging
The grapes are hand-harvested, with successive sorting. Fermentation is carried out in barrels, as is aging (40% new barrels) for 18 months.
Blend
Château de Myrat 2020 is a blend of sémillon (96%), sauvignon blanc (2%) and muscadelle (2%).

This wine ideally accompanies a variety of dishes (spicy tapas, prawns, foie gras, curry chicken, braised veal chop), cheeses (Roquefort, Comté) as well as desserts (apple or pear tart, red fruit salad).
