Juicy and fresh, featuring a mix of damson plum, raspberry and black currant fruit that melds with singed alder, warm earth and dark tobacco notes. Shows a good tug of iron on the finish. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2022 through 2034. 4,000 cases made.

La Croix du Casse was heavily affected by frost, demanding an extremely careful vinification to focus on the fruit expression. The tannins are soft and it lacks a little Pomerol typicity, but is very pretty, well made and enjoyable for medium-term drinking. From 9ha of clay in one block, sharing an owner with Taillefer.

A delicious red with lots of crushed berries, cherries and chocolate, as well as orange-peel flavor. Medium to full body. Round, juicy tannins and a medium finish. A blend of 94% merlot and 6% cabernet franc. Hard not to drink now. Delicious.

Blending 94% Merlot with 6% Cabernet Franc produced a wine that is medium-bodied, focusing on chocolate-covered plums, a fruity mid-palate, and a softly textured finish. Due to the frost, the estate lost 70% of their crop.

Kunz barrel sample 18: (94% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 23 hl/ha, 30% of a normal harvest) Spicy, light bouquet, sour cherries, rubber, wood. Supple, light palate with sweet fruit, little fine tannin, delicate aromatics, a well-kerned structure, light finish.

60% of the vineyard was hit by frost, and the remainder yields a wine with inviting roundness, dominated by 94% Merlot.

Lovely fresh fruit in the bouquet of this Pomerol, with notes of raspberries and strawberries. A spicy touch. Lively, juicy character on the palate. The wine is balanced, refined, and can be enjoyed in its youth. Fruity finish.

Fruity wine, with a suave, creamy nose and a very hedonistic palate. It develops with flavorful, particularly pleasant character. Normal length.
