    Weinwisser

Medium garnet with a ruby rim. Intense, heady bouquet with cherry notes and hints of elderberry. On the palate, fine and well-structured, nice mid-palate creaminess, fruit showing a slightly stewed character, finish a bit too grainy with a metallic component.

Medium garnet with a ruby rim. Intense, heady bouquet with notes of cherry and elderberry. On the palate, fine texture with a lovely mid-palate creaminess; the fruit feels slightly stewed, the finish is a bit too grainy, and unfortunately shows a metallic component.

    Jean-Marc Quarin

Dark color, medium intensity, and slightly evolved. Fine nose, fruity, ripe, and a bit firm when swirled. Lovely, aromatic, caressing entry on the palate, and the wine unfolds with a straight, flavorful, taut body, with wrapped tannins on the finish. Medium length. A wine rightly praised by some participants for the pleasure it offers now.

    Description

The intensity and structure of a Pauillac red wine

    The estate

In the heart of the Pauillac appellation, the Château La Fleur Peyrabon is a property of great personality. On the left bank of Bordeaux, this estate has been brilliantly managed by Patrick Bernard since 1998, who makes it a point of honor to produce elegant and refined wines.

    The vineyard

Located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur on the left bank of the Bordeaux region, the vineyard of Château La Fleur Peyrabon benefits from a very large sandy gravel terroir resting on clay subsoils, which allows the production of typical crus of the Pauillac appellation.

    Vinification and aging

Hand harvesting followed by rigorous sorting and destemming. Parcel vinification in concrete vats. Progressive extraction before malolactic fermentation and aging for 14 months in barrels (50% of which are new).

    Blend

Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot.
