    Decanter

Varietal nose, green apple, elderflower, green peas, pear and acacia flower. Brilliant acidity, clean and crystalline, sherbet lemon and lime citrus gives a kick, with mouthwatering acidity and a salty touch to the finish. So clean and precise, really focused and direct. Good movement from start to finish. Tension all the way through, the finish is great, salty and stony. I like the combination here. Joyful, almost sweet and sour. Just fabulous from winemaker Jacques Lurton.

Juicy and fresh on the nose, with a showy display of grapefruit, flowers, tangerine, and green apples. The palate is crisp, vivid, and bright, with loads of sweet yellow and orange citrus, and just a touch of pineapple on the finish. This is going to be quite nice to enjoy on release for all of its fruit and vibrancy. Drink from 2027-2034. 93-93 pts

    Le Figaro Vin

Shy at first, offering only a few nuances of freshly cut grass, lawn and white fruit, before revealing a rounder, sunlit, radiant side. On the palate, lemon takes the lead with its razor‑sharp acidity in a taut, mineral texture, with a hint of salinity carrying through a long, sapid finish.

The Château La Louvière, located in Léognan within the Pessac-Léognan appellation, is a wine estate of remarkable historical significance. Founded in 1310, it was transformed into a modern vineyard between 1510 and 1550 by Pierre de Guilloche. In 1620, it was entrusted to the Carthusian monks, who established its viticultural reputation. Acquired by André Lurton in 1965, the château was carefully restored and is now classified as a Monument Historique. The estate, still managed by the Lurton family, is renowned for its White wines and Red wines of exceptional quality.
