    Description

A red wine with fine, silky tannins

Produced in the Margaux appellation, Chateau Labegorce's name stem from "thorny bush". The vineyard of 65 hectares, has vines that are 30 years old on average, and is planted on sandy gravel. Harvest occurred from October 4-21. Wine is aged in French oak barrels (45% are new). The 2016 vintage is a blend of Merlot 52%, Cabernet Sauvignon 38%, Cabernet Franc 6% and Petit Verdot 4%.

Chateau Labegorce 2016 reveals sublime flavours in the mouth. The wine has a brilliantly fruity long-lasting finish. The palate combines richnesscomplexity and sweetness. The tannins are delicately melted and show exceptional finesse
