    Decanter

Gorgeous fragrance, so floral and expressive, really very Margaux – some dark chocolate and liquorice. Smooth and sappy with something really friendly and charming about this, bright and supple, not too high acidity, really refined with a delicate purity to the fruit on the mid-palate – blueberries and cherries – with a salty, grippy undercurrent. Ageing will round this out with more integration but there’s a lot of joy to be had. Good balance and long! 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Ageing 35% new oak.

Violets, iris, cherries, currants, raspberries, and white flowers create the aromatic profile. The palate is sensuous, silky, creamy, and vibrant. There is a sweetness and purity to the fruits, with a touch of crushed rocks and stones in the finish. The wine blends 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. 12.5% ABV. Drink from 2029-2055. 93-95 Pts

Muscular through the mid palate, significantly more intense than sibling estate La Tour de Mons, lots of power through the mid palate, liquorice and crayon, really enjoyable, very Left Bank. Harvest September 4 to 30. 30% new oak. 3.6 pH, 32hl/ha yield. Marjolaine Maurice de Coninck technical director.

Subtly oaked, Labégorce’s bouquet is inviting and complex. It reveals pleasant notes of ripe dark berries and praline, enhanced by a touch of cinnamon. The smooth character of the attack paves the way for an elegant, charming and harmonious wine. Its velvety tannins provide body and energy, supported by acidity that contributes both freshness and structure. A delightful wine.

Dark, intense color with purplish highlights. An intense nose with ripe fruit. Precise on the attack, very aromatic through the mid-palate, with a rich texture across the palate and plenty of flavor, the wine melts into the finish. It ends long, sappy and fragrant. This is very good. Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot. Alcohol: 12.6% - pH: 3.6. Yield: 32 hl/ha. 8% press wine.

    Vinum

Ripe-fruited, with depth, refined toasty notes and a hint of eucalyptus; on the palate it is dense and compact, with generous fruit, ripe fine-grained tannins, plenty of drive, long-lasting length and a saline finish. An excellent Labégorce that will be enjoyable soon, yet can age well!
