2014 Moulis from Bordeaux

The 2014 Poujeaux is a subtle blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. These grape-varieties wonderfully express on this late harvest wine, in Moulis as well as in other Medoc municipalities. The 2014 Moulis of Chateau Poujeaux offers an expressive, delicate and complex nose. The latter gives off intense black fruit and Morello cherry aromas, but also more floral notes. On the palate, the attack is supple, the wine is dense and the tannins are silky. The 2014 Poujeaux drinks well thanks to great complexity, good finesse and good persistence. This Moulis is a classic.
