A Rosé Full of Freshness from the Vineyard of Château Siaurac in Lalande de Pomerol
The Estate
Château Siaurac is an estate in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, in Néac, on Bordeaux's Right Bank. Founded in 1832, the estate extends over 46 hectares of vines in a single block, surrounded by a park classified as a "Jardin Remarquable". Since September 2020, the property has belonged to Les Terroirs de Suravenir, a subsidiary of the Arkéa Crédit Mutuel group. Renowned for its 19th-century château listed as a historic monument and for its commitment to organic farming, Château Siaurac stands out for its proximity to the great crus of Pomerol.
The Vineyard
Coming from the vineyard of Château Siaurac, in Néac, on the edge of the Pomerol plateau, this rosé, sold as a Vin de France, comes from a 46-hectare estate in a single block, divided into around forty plots. The soils, made up of gravel and clay, lie on alluvial terraces typical of Bordeaux's Right Bank. The vines, planted at a density of approximately 7,100 vines per hectare, are cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles, certified since the 2020 vintage.
The Vintage
The 2025 vintage stands out for an early harvest, which began on 2 September, specifically for the production of the rosé, in order to preserve freshness and balance in the grapes. This early harvest points to a high-quality vintage for the estate.
Winemaking and Ageing
For the production of S de Siaurac Rosé 2025, the grapes are harvested early to preserve their freshness, then received at the winery on sorting tables allowing precise selection before vinification. This attention to the harvest contributes to the finesse and liveliness sought for this rosé.
