This rosé pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine, such as grilled vegetables or a summer salad with fruit and goat cheese. It also complements perfectly a seafood platter, delicate white fish, or herb-marinated white meats.
The authentic expression of a Provence terroir
The estate
Founded in 2019 by American entrepreneur Barry Bayat, the Rumor House quickly established itself as a key reference in Provence. Based in Flassans-sur-Issole, the estate was created with the ambition of building a brand combining excellence, environmental sustainability, and accessible elegance. Without owning all of its vineyards, the estate rigorously selects its grapes from the finest terroirs in the region. Today, the estate’s wines shine across the world, featured in the most prestigious establishments.
The vineyard
The grapes used in this Côtes de Provence wine come from exceptional terroirs located on the foothills of the Massif des Maures. The vines thrive on predominantly limestone soils, ideal for producing high-quality rosés.
The vintage
The growing season benefited from the ideal climatic conditions of the Mediterranean region. Abundant sunshine combined with a significant temperature range between warm days and cooler nights allowed the berries to reach perfect ripeness, ensuring an ideal balance between aromatic concentration and the grapes’ natural acidity.
Winemaking and aging
The estate’s philosophy is based on minimal intervention in the cellar in order to preserve the purity of the fruit. After fermentation, the wine is aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This technical choice preserves the wine’s clarity, freshness, and natural structure without altering it through oxidation.
Grape varieties
This blend is composed of grenache, cinsault, and syrah.
