Description
A rich and balanced Champagne from the Montagne de Reims
The estate
The Champagne Huré Frères House has been a family business for over 50 years. Now managed by Raoul Huré and his two sons, François and Pierre, this 11-hectare estate is mainly located on the hillsides of the Montagne de Reims, with vineyards in Ludes and Ville-Dommange, both classified as Premier Crus.
The vineyard
"4 éléments Pinot Noir Extra Brut" comes from a parcel located in Ludes, a Champagne vineyard characterized by its northern exposure on sandy and windy terroir. Set on the chalky soil typical of the Montagne de Reims, this late-ripening site benefits from a cool microclimate that gives this cuvée verticality and salinity.
Winemaking and aging
Aging lasts 18 months in large oak barrels (600L and 350L), followed by 4 years on the lees.
Grape variety
This "4 éléments Extra Brut 2018" is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
