    Description

The structure and elegance of a Saint-Émilion wine

    The estate

Château Quintus was born from the union of the terroirs of Château Tertre Daugay and Château L’Arrosée, acquired by the family company Domaine Clarence Dillon in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Château Quintus is thus the fifth estate of the Domaine Clarence Dillon group, alongside Châteaux Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut-Brion. The estate takes its name from the Gallo-Roman tradition of naming one's fifth child Quintus.

    The vineyard

The 28-hectare vineyard of this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru owes its uniqueness to its mosaic of terroirs. The vines are planted on the plateau on a succession of south-facing limestone strata, as well as on clay-limestone and gravel soils exposed from south to north of the estate.

    Blend

69% Merlot and 31% Cabernet Franc.
