An exceptional Japanese whisky aged 30 years
Suntory Whisky, pioneer of Japanese whisky since 1899
Founded in 1899 by Shinjirō Torii in Osaka, Suntory Whisky has established itself as the pioneer of Japanese whisky since the opening of Japan’s first distillery in Yamazaki in 1923. Owned by the Saji family, which holds 90% of the capital under the leadership of billionaire Nobutada Saji, the House operates three strategic distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita. Suntory Whisky stands out for its unique fusion of Scottish and Japanese techniques, its respect for monozukuri (craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation), and its mastery of aging in a variety of casks.
Hibiki 30 Years Old, an exceptional limited edition
Launched in 1997, Hibiki 30 Years Old is one of the rarest and most prestigious expressions in the Hibiki range, whose name means “resonance” in Japanese. This whisky of exception is crafted from a meticulous blend of malt whiskies from Yamazaki and grain whiskies from Chita, all aged for a minimum of 30 years. Each bottle is hand-bottled, reflecting the artisanal care devoted to this cuvée.
An ultra-limited production and a unique design
Production of Hibiki 30 Years Old remains extremely confidential, with only a few thousand bottles produced annually. The bottle stands out with its unique design adorned with 24 facets. This limited edition has achieved international acclaim, winning the ISC Trophy and the title of World’s Best Blended Whisky in 2008, confirming its exceptional status among Japanese whiskies.
