Château Peyrabon 2016

Built on some serious Cabernet Sauvignon, this blend runs full throttle into rich, ripe black fruit motifs with plenty of structural support from grippy and energetic tannins that are well balanced by bright acidity, engaging textures, and a lingering finish.

Light and fresh with soft cassis, herb and tobacco character, this medium-bodied wine brings you to an open, quiet fruity finish.

Approachable, with lovely tannins and a supple texture; you can drink it at your leisure, no rush.

Garnet red with slight purple highlights. A fruity, refreshing bouquet of good intensity, marked by raspberries, prunes, and a hint of cinnamon. Lush and creamy on the palate. A beautiful harmony between structure and tannins. The latter have fine grain and lend lovely breadth across the entire palate. I’m curious to follow this wine over time, but it must be said it is already very convincing. Bravo.

Dark color, medium intensity, and youthful. Pleasant nose, slightly discreet, with pure, fresh fruit. Smooth palate with medium body, very fruity, finishing with no tannic edges and good length. It’s good.

With its high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine has a good structure and ripe, generous black-currant flavors. Its fresh character gives juiciness that contrasts with the rich fruits. It's a wine with tannins and aging potential. Drink from 2023.
