A Precise Loire White Wine of Great Finesse
The estate
Located in the heart of the Loire vineyard, the "Les Vins d'Emmanuelle" selection embodies the passion and expertise passed down by the Mellot family, a renowned winemaking lineage in Sancerre. With 17 years of experience alongside her family, Emmanuelle Mellot chose to create her own wine collection, reflecting both the quality and history of her heritage. "Les Vins d'Emmanuelle" symbolizes this quest for excellence, offering meticulously crafted wines that express the identity of their terroir.
The vineyard
The estate distinguishes itself through rigorous plot selection, revealing the diversity and richness of the great Loire appellations. From Sancerre to Pouilly-Fumé, through Menetou-Salon, Reuilly, Quincy or Vouvray, each cuvée highlights a terroir chosen for its unique character and ability to express the best of local grape varieties.
The wine
Ma Colline is a Sancerre wine from approximately 35-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone "caillottes" soils.
Winemaking and aging
The harvest is done by hand. After gentle pressing, fermentation and aging take place on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, wooden vats, and barrels to preserve all the freshness and complexity of this white Sancerre wine.
Grape variety
100% Sauvignon Blanc.
